Good! So are we!
RATIO is run completely by volunteers. That means no one
makes a salary. Not the president, not the office staff. No one.
Also, RATIO is extremely picky about the non-profit organizations
that we support! Each charity is rigorously investigated using the
most trusted research tools available; including Charity Navigator,
Forbes and the American Institute of philanthropy. We look for a
program efficiency of 90% or higher; as well as a time-tested infrastructure,
and independent verification of program effectiveness and longevity.

Plus, with RATIO (unlike many other non-profits), you always know
exactly where your money is going! Every dime we raise for a cause
is donated directly to our chosen recipient; without commission
or fee. And our small general fund is always kept seperate from
the other monies generated. In addition, any funding short-falls
come directly from the pockets of our unpaid staff, NEVER from donations
to a cause (talk about motivation to stay on budget!).
So rest assured; the destination of each donation you make will
be clearly disclosed to you; with no hidden costs, and no secret
salaries!
